Matt Oberdier received his BFA in Illustration from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit in 2008. He has since worked as a freelance graphic designer & web developer for local firms. Prior to that, he worked independently in fine arts & illustration, including commissioned portraiture.

Art was a passion that started early for Matt. He recalls his fourth-grade classmates asking him to illustrate comic book characters for them. Then in fifth grade he had a realization. Matt sent a visiting Halloween storyteller a thank-you card illustrated with an image of the Headless Horseman. The storyteller was so impressed that, on a return visit, he gave young Matt an art set to encourage him.

The encouragement paid off. Matt has endeavored to make a career doing what he loves. He is available for employment in, web, print and logo design and web development.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing guitar & singing, cooking vegan food, photography and acting.
